Since then, many famous and prestigious projects have been realized both in Milan (some among the best and most successful operations: Piazza S. Babila and Corso Vittorio Emanuele buildings, the one in Piazza Diaz, which is crowned by the famous Martini balcony, besides Via Mc Mahon, Piazza Accursio, Viale Padova, Via Settembrini, etc.) and Varese, north of Milan, the native town of F.I.M. Group (where a number of projects and developments are signed by Ferro Cemento Armato and F.I.M.: the so-called “White-Coliseum” a circular building in the very heart of the town, the present COIN store building and the former “Standa” (today Oviesse store) Mall building.
During the ‘80s, entering the “new generation”, the company was turned into an s.r.l.
Ferro Cemento Armato s.r.l. extended its activities and expertise by the acquisition of a complete know-how in all sectors of the housing industry. The very selective operational policy gave the light to new prestigious investments and projects, that contributed to a relevant enhancement of the company heritage, whilst getting structured for the future.
The mid ‘90s were deemed an important time for the company history. The continuous research to explore new investment opportunities led Massimiliano Monferini (current F.I.M. President) and Matteo Monferini, to delve into and explore the up-and-coming nations of Central Eastern Europe. Czech Republic was singled out as having a sufficiently developed economy with vast room for new potential investments. In 1998 F.I.M. Prague office was opened. Since then, F.I.M. has developed several important residential, commercial and hotel projects.
The complexity of the sector and the increasing skills needed, required a second internal transformation, resulting in the birth of the F.I.M. s.r.l. (May 2002), shaped as a finance company, that will allow the group to carry out directly or through its subsidiaries, all management features of investment property.
In December 2004 F.I.M. s.r.l. becomes S.p.A. and keeps on growing, trading locations that are usually dealt by companies within the Group and on own property.
In recent years the company consolidated further its position in the housing market, believing in innovative, sustainable and high quality projects, both in Italy and abroad.
